$88K for a Cheeto? This one’s gotta catch ‘em all!

Snack Attack! Flamin’ Hot Cheeto Shaped Like Pokémon Sells for $88K

Goldin’s auction A single Flamin’ Hot Cheeto shaped like a Pokémon was purchased at auction for $88,000.

A single Flamin’ Hot Cheeto resembling a Pokémon has fetched a scorching $88,000 at auction.

Dubbed “Cheetozard,” the 3-inch-long, fire-red snack bears a striking resemblance to Charizard, one of the most iconic Pokémon. The oddly shaped Cheeto sold this week on Goldin’s auction platform to an anonymous buyer.

The crispy collector’s item comes encased in a custom Pokémon card and sealed inside a clear storage box—likely to prevent it from crumbling away.

Bidding kicked off at just $275 on Feb. 11 but quickly ignited, climbing to a final bid of $72,000. With buyer’s fees, the total cost reached a fiery $87,840.

Let’s just hope the buyer doesn’t get hungry during a late-night snack attack.
