The best skits & performances from the “SNL50″ special

The stars really came out to celebrate the 50th anniversary of Saturday Night Live. There were skits, musical performances & video montages.

Even Jack Nicholson showed up to introduce Adam Sandler’s acoustic performance of an original song called, “50 Years,” that joked about the highs and lows the show provided throughout the decades. It was good!

The best sketch of the night had to be Eddie Murphy doing Tracy Morgan, while next to Tracy Morgan during, “Black Jeopardy.” I don’t know how Tracy Morgan held it together during that sketch.

Sabrina Carpenter had the honor of opening the show with the legendary Paul Simon.
