Butterball unveils a "Cook from Frozen" Thanksgiving Turkey it doesn't need to be thawed

Butterball has introduced a new solution for Thanksgiving – a turkey you don’t need to thaw. It’s called “Butterball Cook from Frozen” (no points for creativity there). The idea is simple: take it straight from the freezer to the oven, eliminating the panic of realizing your turkey is still frozen just hours before dinner.

This turkey is perfect for those who hate handling raw meat. There’s no neck, no giblets, and it’s pre-brined, so all you need to do is unwrap it, brush on some oil, and cook. The instructions are literally: “Unwrap . . . Cook.”

It takes about five hours to cook, which is roughly the same as a regular turkey. Butterball says the magic lies in a “specially formulated brine” that keeps the turkey just as juicy, tender, and flavorful as a thawed one.

The only downside? You can’t stuff it. But let’s face it, if you’re opting for this turkey, you’re probably making Stove Top stuffing on the side anyway.
