A Christmas market & Christmas fireworks this weekend

The Avenues Mall isn’t the only place you can take your kid for a visit to see Santa this month.

Santa is going to be at the World Golf Village tomorrow in St. Augustine!

The 11th Annual Holiday Market in the South is going on from 10a-3p tomorrow at the World Golf Village Renaissance Hotel Resort. The market features decorations and unique gifts from over 150 vendors, giveaways and character meet-and-greets... Santa will be there the entire time and Mickey Mouse appears from 2:00-3:00.

Get there early and if you’re one of the first 30 people to enter, you’ll get a swag bag. The best thing... it’s free to attend... no tickets needed.

How about some Christmas fireworks this weekend? They’ll be happening tomorrow night at the finale of the Annual Holiday Spectacular Event at the St. Johns Town Center. Festivities get underway at 2:00, with entertainment on the main stage, located at the Park Green in front of Maggiano’s. They’ll have live music, games, giveaways, a fire truck, character appearances and of course, Santa will attend.

In fact, Santa will lead the grand finale, when they light the 32-foot holiday tree and set off fireworks at 8p.
