Did you see the Super Bowl commercial that featured a St. Johns County family?

It was the second favorite commercial that ran during the Super Bowl, according to the USA Today Ad Meter ranking, and it featured a St. Johns County family.

I’m talking about the commercial for Lay’s potato chips, titled, “Little Farmer.”

It featured a little girl planting a potato and growing her own potato to then give to a Lay’s truck full of other potatoes.

At the end of the commercial, there is a pic of a little girl holding two potatoes in her hands. That girl is 5-year-old DeLee Parker of St. Johns County and those two potatoes she has are from her family’s farm, Parker Produce Company, in Elkton. The text says, “Real potatoes grown on family farms across America.”

The pic then transitions into a collage of pics, showing DeLee’s dad, Jeffrey, his dad, Jeff and his cousin Scott, along with a family photo showing multiple generations of farmers. How cool is that? Here’s the commercial... look for them at the end.

Here is a video about their family farm.
