Is America’s love affair with pumpkin spice fading? Not entirely—it’s still a favorite, just not as popular as it once was.
With the first day of fall over a month away (September 22nd), an early poll shows that 58% of Americans don’t consider pumpkin spice the best fall flavor.
In fact, it only ranked fourth overall. So, what flavors beat it? Here are the top 10:
- Cinnamon: 39% said it’s one of their favorite fall flavors.
- Salted caramel: 37%.
- Candy apple: 36%.
- Pumpkin spice: 32%.
- Maple: 28%.
- S’mores: 28% (Isn’t this more of a summer flavor?).
- Pecan: 26%.
- Toasted marshmallow: 24% (Again, a fall flavor?).
- Sweet potato: 20%.
- Cranberry: 19%.
